What is Electricity?

Step 1 of 4
"Ever turned the key and nothing happened? That's electricity... or the lack of it."

What is Electricity?

Electricity is the flow of electrons. On your bike, it's what powers everything — ignition, horn, headlights, indicators, even the clock. Think of electricity like water in pipes. The battery is the pump, the wires are the pipes, and the bike parts are water-powered machines.

Without electricity, your bike might still roll, but it won't start, stop safely, or keep you visible at night. Understanding how it works is your first step to becoming your own electrical troubleshooter.
