Headlight Wiring
Step 1 of 4
"Your engine is running fine, but you're invisible at night. What's wrong?"
The Headlight System
The headlight system includes the switch, battery, relay (in some bikes), and bulbs. A simple break in the wiring or a corroded connector can stop it from working.
Even with a fully charged battery and working bulb, a single loose connection can leave you in the dark. Vibration from riding can loosen connections over time.

🎙️ Listen to Explanation
In this lesson, you'll learn:
- How the headlight circuit works
- Common causes of headlight failure
- How to diagnose wiring issues
- The importance of secure connections
🧩 Headlight Circuit Simulation
Toggle the headlight switch and simulate a wire break to see how it affects the headlight.

Switch:OFF
Wire Condition:CONNECTED
Headlight:NOT WORKING
Headlight is off because the switch is turned off.
A headlight circuit is a series circuit - if any component fails, the headlight won't work. Always check connections first when troubleshooting.
